How do I enter my license key?
Open Purrge, choose Purrge → Enter License… from the menu bar, and paste the key from your email. One key, one payment — nothing renews.
Purrge shows fewer results than I expected.
That usually means limited access. Full Disk Access is optional, but without it some protected locations cannot be read and results may be incomplete. Grant it in System Settings → Privacy & Security → Full Disk Access, then scan again.
I removed something I want back.
Since version 0.6.0, Purrge permanently deletes selected files and cannot restore them. Check your backups. For cleanups made with 0.5.0 or earlier, check the macOS Trash if it has not been emptied.
Why did Purrge preselect some app data?
When you remove an app, verified eligible associated data can be preselected. You can deselect anything you want to keep before confirming. Whatever stays selected — including settings and saved data — is permanently deleted with the app.
Does relocating a folder to an external drive delete the original?
Not until the copy is verified and you have tested it. The source stays in place through the whole process, and an interrupted relocation requires explicit recovery.
I used DiskBreeze. What happens to my copy?
Purrge is DiskBreeze under a new name. Any upgrade or transfer policy has to be decided and published alongside the commercial terms; nothing is promised here.

For help with an order, quote the order reference from your receipt. Never send the complete licence key, a card number or a password — nobody supporting Purrge needs any of them, and no one legitimate will ask. For app help, include your app version, macOS version, Mac architecture, the steps you took and the result you expected. Share the minimum needed. Privacy and deletion requests
State the service involved, the right you want to exercise, and a safe way to reply. If optional native analytics was enabled, a random installation identifier may be needed to find relevant reports; do not post identifiers publicly. Requests must be handled under the law that applies, with proportionate verification and an explanation of any applicable exception. A response deadline or staffed support schedule is not promised by this draft.
You can already turn native analytics off in the app’s Settings and manage website storage with Cookie settings. Turning tracking off does not automatically erase historical provider records. Website controls do not remove your app’s local files or recovery journals.

We aim to provide keyboard navigation, visible focus, readable contrast, reduced-motion support and accessible preference controls.
