Purrge license keys are emailed by LemonSqueezy the moment a purchase completes. If yours has gone missing, here is how to get it back.

Your purchase email
LemonSqueezy emails your receipt and license key as soon as payment completes. Search your mail for “Purrge” or “LemonSqueezy”, including the spam and promotions folders — the key is in that message.

LemonSqueezy keeps its own record of every order it processes and offers buyers a lookup. Give it the email address you paid with and it sends you a link to your order, receipt and license key. No account or password is involved.

Questions people ask when a key goes missing
Can purrge.app look my key up for me?
No. This website never receives, stores or issues license keys, so there is no key database here to search and no self-service portal. Payment, receipts and keys are handled by LemonSqueezy; activation is verified on your Mac and stored in your macOS Keychain.
What does one license cover?
One payment, with nothing that renews and nothing that expires. A Purrge license activates the app on up to two Macs. The price is on the pricing page.
I am replacing a Mac. Do I need another key?
No — the same key covers two Macs. Purrge’s Settings show your activation status and let you deactivate the Mac you are retiring, which frees that activation for the new one.
Purrge did not accept the key I pasted.
Paste the whole key exactly as it appears in the email, with no leading or trailing space, and make sure the Mac is online — activation is checked with LemonSqueezy over the internet. If it is still refused, write in with your order number rather than guessing at variations of the key.
I used DiskBreeze. Does that license carry over?
Purrge is DiskBreeze under a new name. Any upgrade or transfer policy has to be decided and published alongside the commercial terms; nothing is promised here.
