Legal & privacy hub
Short, plain, and all in one place.
What Purrge processes (very little), what it does with it, and the terms you buy under. Last updated 26 October 2026.
These terms are in force. One commercial detail is still being confirmed and is marked in the text below: how long a refund decision takes. Nothing else on this page is provisional.
Privacy on this website
The whole policy fits in four points. The full notice is in the privacy policy.
Optional tracking is your choice. Lemon Squeezy affiliate referrals require a separate opt-in. Google advertising loads only when configured and you accept advertising. Google Analytics 4 and Meta remain inactive without their configuration. No session replay runs here.
One necessary cookie. It remembers your cookie choice for 180 days so we do not ask again. It contains no identifier that could be used to recognise you elsewhere. If an optional purpose is ever available and you accept it, that provider sets its own cookies as well; the cookie notice lists each one.
Payments are handled by LemonSqueezy. Card details are entered on LemonSqueezy’s hosted checkout and never reach purrge.app — no card number, expiry or security code at any point. What comes back is the order record needed to support the sale. The privacy policy sets out exactly what that is and how long it is kept.
Your rights. You can ask what we hold about you and have it corrected or deleted. Write to the contact address below. The registered postal address and the relevant supervisory authority follow from the jurisdiction, which is still being confirmed.
Privacy in the app
Separate from the website, and separately controlled.
Scans stay on your Mac. Scans and file inventories are processed locally. File contents and inventories are not uploaded as product analytics.
Usage analytics is opt-in. The Mac app integrates Mixpanel, off until you turn it on in Settings and only active in a configured build. It is independent of this website.
Permissions are yours to grant. Full Disk Access is broad and optional; with limited access some locations are skipped. Purrge asks only when you choose to scan protected locations.
License & refunds
Read the full purchase & refund status and software license.
Who sells Purrge. Purrge is sold by Creative Sparks as a one-time licence. Payment is taken through LemonSqueezy’s hosted checkout, and the name on your receipt is the party that processed it. The refund period, the registered postal address and the governing law are being confirmed and are marked as such on the pages below.
Price and billing model. $14.50 one-time for a full license, $29 after the launch offer, with no subscription and nothing that renews. That price is approved and final; what is not settled is the seller, the refund window and the governing law, all of which must be published before the shop opens.
Where you can use it. The number of Macs per license and personal versus team use still have to be confirmed and published.
Updates and refunds. How to ask for a refund is set out in Refunds & cancellations; the length of the refund period is being confirmed and is marked there. The included-updates and major-version policy is not published yet and is not promised here.
What Purrge does and does not do. Scanning does not delete files. Cleanup is chosen by you, confirmed, and validated before permanent removal. Files do not go to the Trash and deletion cannot be undone. Back up your Mac regularly — no storage tool replaces a backup.
Questions about any of this?
Privacy requests, licence questions, order help and accessibility feedback all go to the same place: support@purrge.app. Quote your order reference where there is one, and never send a complete licence key, a card number or a password.
