Who you are buying from

Purrge is made and published by Creative Sparks, Adams Building, Thellakom PO, Kottayam, Kerala, India — 686630.

Your payment does not go to Creative Sparks directly. Lemon Squeezy is the merchant of record for the sale. In its own words it “is an authorized reseller of the product for the Supplier”, so the charge on your card, the name on your receipt and the contract for the transaction are with Lemon Squeezy; Purrge is the product Creative Sparks supplies through it. Its Buyer Terms govern that transaction and are worth reading alongside this page.

What that means for refunds: Creative Sparks decides requests under the policy below and issues the refund through Lemon Squeezy. Lemon Squeezy separately runs its own refund handling, which this page does not control — it states that refunds are “provided at the sole discretion of Lemon Squeezy and on a case-by-case basis and may be refused”, and that it may issue a refund within 60 days of purchase at its own discretion to prevent a chargeback. So this page is what Creative Sparks commits to. It is not a limit on what Lemon Squeezy may do, in either direction.

Write to us first: support@purrge.app. If you are thinking about a chargeback, note that Lemon Squeezy’s Buyer Terms ask you to contact Lemon Squeezy before disputing a charge with your bank or card issuer.

Delivery

Delivery is electronic. Your licence key is emailed by Lemon Squeezy when payment completes; there is nothing to ship and no physical media. If the key has not arrived, check your spam folder first, then write to the address above with your order reference — never with the key itself.

The Purrge Mac app is available now for Intel and Apple Silicon Macs running macOS 14 or later. Download it from the homepage; your licence unlocks cleanup and SSD relocation.

When we refund

Within 14 days of purchase, if Purrge did not work on your Mac. That means any of the following, on a Mac that meets the stated requirements:

• Purrge will not install, or will not launch.
• Purrge crashes on launch, or crashes repeatedly in ordinary use.
• Your licence key will not activate, and we cannot get it working with you.
• A core function — scanning your storage, or deleting files you selected after confirmation — fails on your Mac.

It does not cover changing your mind, buying by mistake, or Purrge working as described but not freeing as much space as you hoped. Those are not faults, and saying so here is fairer than implying a no-questions refund and then refusing you.

A refunded licence is deactivated, and continued use of Purrge after a refund is not covered by it. There is no subscription, so there is nothing to cancel: a one-time purchase does not renew and cannot turn into a charge you did not expect.

How to ask, and what we need

Email support@purrge.app from the address you paid with, and tell us:

• your order reference from the Lemon Squeezy receipt — not the licence key itself;
• what happened, in your own words;
• your Mac model and macOS version (Apple menu → About This Mac);
• the Purrge version, if you got far enough to see it.

That is the whole list. A screenshot helps if you happen to have one, but we will not ask you for log files, crash reports or diagnostics you would have to go hunting for. A proof requirement you cannot meet is a refusal in a different hat, and we would rather refund you than run one.

We may ask a question or suggest a fix before deciding. You can decline and ask us to go ahead with the refund. Your request counts as made on the day you send it, so the 14 days cannot run out during a back-and-forth with us. We aim to reach a decision within [to be confirmed: how long a refund decision takes] days of your first message.

Your rights, wherever you live

These terms are governed by the law of India, with the courts of Kerala.

That does not take away rights the law where you live gives you. Lemon Squeezy sells worldwide, and consumer protection law in many places — including across the EU and in the UK — gives buyers of digital content rights that a choice-of-law clause in a consumer contract cannot remove. Where such rights apply to you, they apply on top of this page, and where they give you more than this policy does, they are what counts.

We do not ask you to give up a cancellation or withdrawal right, and there is no waiver to tick at checkout. Whether a statutory cooling-off period applies to your purchase depends on where you live, and we do not claim it never does. If you believe you have one, say so when you write and we will handle your request on that basis.

Nothing on this page excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, or any remedy you have for digital content that is faulty or not as described.
